Massachusetts had an annual change of international students by 5.9 percent higher among ten US states, referring to IIE data.
The number of international students located in Massachusetts went from 59,436 in 2015/16 up to 62,926 in 2016/17, an increase of 5.9 percent.
Massachusetts is ranked 4th as the US state that hosts most international students. On top of the list remains California universities, followed by New York and Texas.
