A quarter of Turkish students enrolled at US universities in 2016/17 were studying Engineering, reports higher education statistics portal MastersDegree.net
Although the total number of Turkish students in the US dropped in 2016/17, the number of students in the Engineering fields of study grew up.
Out of 10,586 Turkish students who studied in the US in 2016/17, 25% or 2731 students were enrolled in an Engineering field of study, way more than in any other area.
In 2015/16, the number of Turkish students in the US was 10,691 but Engineering students shared 24% or 2566 students.
